Last night was an amazing monsoon storm, I'm not a huge thunder/lightning person but I do love a great down pour of rain! Blake took these pictures when the lightning was non-stop and it seemed like it was almost daylight outside. There were a ton of problems around the city with trees, power poles and traffic lights down all over - broken windows, roofs of condos ripped off and tossed into the light rail tracks, and an 8 million dollar ASU football Practice Dome/Tent ripped to shreds and part of it blown into the street, lets not forget they have only used it for 1 month (bummer huh)! With winds up to 75mph, the storm was 100 miles long and 40 miles wide, you almost have to expect some damage.
