It's true, we ended up going to Lake Powell even though I swore I wouldn't with a 3 week old...(she did awesome by the way) My sweet husband wanted to go pretty bad and I wanted Blake's grandparents to meet Stella since that's the only time we see them each year. So Blake had a great idea to rent a camping trailer that would have a/c and I could put Stella & Weston down for naps and the kids would have a place to wind down and take baths at night or watch a cartoon and get out of the heat! Everything worked out great and we are glad we went.

Older and Wiser
BLAKE is 30 today and I thought I'd tell you a few things I love about him...
*Blake is ONE of a kind, genuine, loving, affectionate, hard working, good at anything he tries, the perfect father, athletic, family oriented, patient, amazing husband, selfless, and to top it all off he's so good looking... I appreciate him more than he'll ever know!!
I Love you Blake, Happy 30th

Are we having fun yet?
Saturday we had a Family BBQ at my brother Robb's house and he bought a blow up water slide with 3 slides and climbing areas and little pools - all the kids had a blast, so much that sometimes we forgot they were with us :-) Stella slept the whole time in her car seat and didn't get to say hello to anyone! Good for me, kind of a bummer for those that wanted to hold her. Her 2 week appt is tomorrow and I'm anxious to see her stats! Sunday we went to Blake's brother Bart's for dinner and watched fireworks from their front yard...we appreciate our freedoms and are grateful for those that have/continue to fight for it. Happy Birthday America

2 weeks
Stella is such a fun addition to our family, the kids love her but don't smother her and I like that! She adds some sweetness to our home and sleeps awesome (hope I don't jinx it)... I believe she will be a brunette as I don't see any red among the brown hair!! I've always wanted a brunette :-) we could always be surprised though! Stella has long fingers and toes and tiny little ears with a fold at the top (like aunt Melanie)... She gets hiccups almost as much as her dad and sneezes at least 3 times like her mom. The kids say "good morning Stella" every time she wakes up from any kind of sleep! We are so happy to have her here and love her to pieces
