I'm 5 MONTHS old today

Stella

has 2 teeth on the bottom
rolls all over and sometimes pushes her bum in the air
sleeps ALL night long
laughs at her siblings (a lot)
pretty content going anywhere/traveling
the bald spot is finally growing in on the back of her head
she sleeps on her tummy now
she loves to grab hair, faces, arms, drinks
she will bounce forever in her jumperoo
she's getting kinda chubby and we love it

Soccer Season

Well it's taken her a few games (3) to warm up to the idea of kicking the ball away from other players, but she finally realized she could do it - She scored 2 goals last weekend! Yay for Ashlyn

The kids love dressing up and so do I - Blake on the other hand doesn't enjoy it! Maybe he'll try harder next year! Thanks everyone for making our holiday SO much fun!

He is also potty training, it was HIS idea :)

Ashlyn started soccer practice and has her first game this weekend, she is also obsessed with playing kid games on my iphone4!!!

~ LATELY ~

Weston got his first black eye, he was running after the same ball as his cousin Kensi and they bonked heads - then not even 30 seconds later they did it again but this time his eye/cheek hit her forehead! The bruise is a different color everyday it seems, but it's almost gone now!

Ashlyn started pre-school last month and goes 2 days a week! Weston isn't so sure about it, especially when we just stay home and don't run errands, he misses his friend! Ashlyn loves learning and practicing letters and songs - she loves her teacher and has all girls in her class this year! lately she wants to know what EVERY sign says while we're driving, it can be quite exhausting :-)

Stella is 3 months old now, and changing so much! She makes SO much noise lately trying to talk and blow bubbles... she enjoys tummy time (unlike my other 2 kiddos) and she is still the BEST sleeper (except last night!) She is about 13 lbs and is becoming quite hilarious when I tickle her! The older kids can always make her smile, she just loves them!

Stella and Lucy were hanging out so we decided to give them a bath together!

Our Labor Day "Stay-Cation"

I really wanted to go somewhere and get out of the heat, however by the time we pack up for a few days, take time to travel and spend the money on gas we decided it would be better to go somewhere in town and just relax and enjoy our time out of the house (without making dinner, doing laundry, being on the computer, doing dishes)!
We headed to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort (we've heard great things about this place) and we enjoyed our stay for the long weekend. The kids played in the pool, ate pizza by the pool, watched a movie by the pool and pretty much loved every second of it. They passed out frozen grapes, cold wash cloths to cool off, and ice water. When we went to get cold treats they were out of so much stuff (from the busy holiday weekend) so they gave us drinks, Popsicles and popcorn at no charge! Thank you very much

Stella did great, just lounged with me by the pool most of the time - we did cool off a few times!

Ashlyn & Weston loved being at "The Hotel" played great together and didn't want to come home. I'm thinking this will have to be an annual thing for us from now on!

*PS- Stella finally stood on Blake's hand, I only say finally because the older kids did this much sooner, she's getting so big (2.5 months)!
