Ashlyn and her Bike

Ashlyn was sad because I picked her up from her cousins before she could ride there bike, I kept telling her the whole way home that she could ride her own bike when we got back to the house. She then started crying telling me she didn't know how to ride her own bike because it didn't have training wheels. Earlier that day she was at my parents and earned a dollar helping grandpa, when Blake got home from work she gave him her dollar and said "I want to buy training wheels with my dollar" - Blake isn't a fan of training wheels since he learned without them, so I said well you are going to have to buy them or teach her how to ride - he spent 2 hours teaching her last night half of the time with only the street lights to see, she did awesome and is SO proud of herself for being able to ride up and down our street and turn all by herself - She fell a few times but wanted to keep going, she's a tough 3 yr old!!

Way to go Ashlyn! Karsen got tired of waiting for Steve to teach him and learned how to do it by himself on the neighbors bike.

That is so darling! what sweet father daughter time :) If any one could ride a bike without training wheels at 3 yrs old it would be a Powell kid! So cute. Yeah Ashlyn :)
