This is how our Thanksgiving morning started, with a 6 AM flight to Utah and yes we woke up at 4 AM to make it on time... Ashlyn hasn't been on a plane since she was 8 months and thought she was such a big girl sitting in her own chair (we didn't have to pay for her or Weston, Ashlyn turns 2 in 2 weeks)!
We stayed at a Lodge in Aspen Groves out Provo Canyon and it was beautiful, thanks to Blake's uncle Mark for taking care of all the details and planning!
They had games, magic shows, music with chimes, dancing, and of course Ashlyn has her tongue out while dancing... I had to throw in a picture of her fun hair I did!
Weston is just under 4 months and as smiley as EVER! He did great on the trip and loved getting so much attention
**Friday Blake and his brothers and sister and there kids went skiing up at Snowbird and had a bunch of fun, during that day I went shopping with 2 sis in laws, Blake's mom and aunt LeAnn at the Park City Outlets***
We all took a hike up Mt. Timpanogos to the water fall and it was a nice/tiring walk (especially with a baby on the front of you and a toddler on your shoulders)
He got the best ride, he slept the WHOLE time except for pictures at the top when I stopped moving for 5 minutes!
And close to the bottom Blake's mom and sister Kim pointed out this MOOSE about 50 yards away, so beautiful huh! (it's a view from the backside)
**This holiday season we are so grateful for amazing family and friends, near and far! We appreciate your friendships and love. We are also VERY grateful for our knowledge of the gospel and the huge part it plays in our lives... Happy Holidays**

Hi Andrea, First of all thanks for adding me to your blog! I noticed the pic of your daughter on the plane and you said she had her own seat, but you didn't have to pay. We are flying to Aruba in January and we are in the same boat. We do not have to pay for my daughter because she is not 2 yet, but I thought she would have to sit in our laps. Which has had me a little worried about our flight! Would you mind telling me how that worked out? Maybe I should contact the airline, my in-laws booked the tickets. Anyway, thanks! Jessica
where are you kids getting this red hair from? i love that color!
I hardly recognized Weston! Holy cow he is getting so BIG! Can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks! miss ya!
Hey! Looks like you guys had a great Thanksgiving and a fun trip! Good luck this next week with potty training. It's REALLY hard the first couple of days, but you just have to stick with it and be consistent. Brooklyn has finally started to poop on the toilet this week, so she is COMPLETELY trained during the day time! It's fantastic! I have taken her to the store, to Nick's softball games, and to other's houses and she's done really well. I just take a back up outfit in case there's an accident. Just don't plan on going anywhere with her the first few days....that would be crazy. Good luck and I hope everything goes good for you guys!
How fun! And the kids are adorable! Weston is already so big! And great job on the cute hair-do. Makenzie won't sit still long enough for me to do anything fancy to her hair. Plus, it usually comes apart an hour later with all her running around that she does.
I can't believe how fast time goes by. Your little guy looks so big!!!! and your kidos are way cute!
Oh, p.s., good luck with potty training on Monday! It's all about consistency and endurance (for the mom).
