{Spring Vacation}

Well our vacation was about a week long and we went to Idaho first (we drove through the night thinking Ashlyn would sleep better- she did ok) - We saw a bunch of family on both sides and had tons of fun in the snow. We drove through a blizzard for about an hour which slowed us down quite a bit... Blake's grandpa Powell still owns and works on his dairy farm and has lived in the same house for 50 years! We really enjoyed staying with them and it was there first time to meet Ashlyn!

We drove by the new Rexburg, ID Temple up on the mountain and it was really beautiful!

We went sledding with Trent and Robin's family and Ashlyn really enjoyed it!

She had it SO easy being carried or pulled up the hills!

Blake and Trent went snowboarding for 3 days in Utah and visited Snow Basin, Park City and The Canyons... Park City was there favorite!

We stayed in this cabin near Heber, UT (just east of Provo on the other side of the Mountains) - it was my sister in law Robin's sisters in-laws. Does that make sense? We had a great time and the cabin was so beautiful! Robin's sister Emily stayed up there with us a few days and we really enjoyed her company as well as her little boy Jonah! Her husband Brandon hung out a few days and took the guys snowmobiling. (thanks again!)

This is what the roads looked like driving up to the cabin - You HAD to have tire chains or Four wheel drive. It was fun but a little scary!

We also took a family ride!

Ashlyn would go down hills on the sled by herself and loved it! it was a little hard to walk in her snow clothes but she had so much fun with her cousins!

As with any trip we saw so many random/funny things while driving that I wished my camera was close by! It was nice spending so much time with our families and making lots of new memories!
